Far too many goals have been left scattered and untouched along the path we’re taking. But whether you’re still climbing towards them, or you’re remembering what you’ve had to leave behind, you’ll be sure to relate to the story we have for you today!

So, what does all of this have to do with Greenland? Well, it’s one of those environments that will push you to your limits and reward you profusely in the end. As we witness a group of athletes on a quest to find a mountain they saw in a blurry photograph, their journey will not only show us stunning views of Greenland but give us a reminder of the intense strength of human will.

In this edition of Saturday’s Around the World, we’re following a small group of athletes as they travel from British Columbia, Canada to the beautiful Karale Glacier of Greenland for a truly testing and breathtaking experience. This story is set in an environment that pulls out the true persistence and drive we all have when a goal has weaseled itself inside of our mind.

These talented athletes stuck through this treacherous journey for weeks to feel a few moments of pure exhilaration, and luckily, we only need to sit where we are through this video to reap the amazing rewards found along the way! (Even if you’re only here for an exceptional look at this beautiful landscape, I promise it’s worth it.)

Now, sit back, grab a cup of tea, and enjoy this film created by the talented Sherpas Cinemas group and brought to us by The North Face!

Why do we work so hard for those few moments of joy? Well, isn’t the reward so much sweeter when you’ve worked for it?  We get what we put in — the more we care, the more pleasure we can find. This rings true in almost every area of our lives, so what are you holding back from? What could happen if a little more energy was put into it?

Even if the reward isn’t as grand as you’d hope, keep going. Think of those small moments of joy as particles: they have more of a presence when they collect.

Keep yourself open!
