It’s the weird, the wacky, the wonderful people in this world that make us pause and say, “Wow.”

Today, we take a trip around the globe taking a look at some of the people out there who took it upon themselves to make the world a little more wonderful for us all.

From a 95-year-old man building a cathedral with his own hands, to a sculptor determined to bring his economically downtrodden town on the map by building enormous metal sculptures, these are the stories of the marvelous people out there doing the incredible.

So buckle up for this edition of Saturday’s Around the World, because we are headed on a journey around the globe!

We have all met quirky and eccentric people in our lives whose creativity and passion leaves us with our mouths slightly agape. Somehow they have the energy, the desire, the grit to do the things that most people would think impossible or a failure. Where would we be without those people? Arguably, in a much more boring world.

We need these people and the things they create to remind us of the boundlessness of the human spirit and to inspire limitless possibility.

So, go be creative, do the things that have never been done, or at least support the weird and wacky people in your life that refuse to hear the no, and keep on pushing. If what you do can bring joy in others, with your work, then by all means, make it happen!

Stay beautiful & keep laughing!
