We can expect a creative twist on any subject from Dr. Seuss, but did you know he has an uplifting message for recent graduates, and it’s worth reading periodically and frequently through life?

If you think you know the wonderful book Oh, the Places You’ll Go! stay tuned for a rendition delivered by an unlikely source. The message rings true, no matter the messenger, and it is befitting a new beginning of any kind. Take a look even if you are very familiar with the book! It’s a treat!

Great Tip:

This is a wonderful book that we (Dr. Chuck and I) give to young people for a graduation gift. In fact, I just ordered four copies for the grads in my life this spring.

If you don’t know the book, check out the reviews on Amazon. You’ll find it is one of those extraordinarily rare books that has 5 stars and thousands of reviews.

It’s lovely and has sage advice for someone just starting a new chapter in life.

The creators we reference today will be bringing Seuss’s words alive through their work at an annual festival in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert called Burning Man, which is an experiment in community, art, and self-expression. Burning Man is famous for the unbelievable sculptures and complete craziness that pushes the envelope of creativity.

See if you are open enough to put all your preconceived notions aside and absorb Burning Man’s Dr. Seuss sentiments from these people, who are out on the ledges…

This video from the awesome channel, Tedshots, focuses on the brilliant intermingling between Dr. Seuss and Burning Man‘s founding concepts, but if you’re curious about the festival, you can check out the Burning Man homepage.

[Spoiler Alert]

Get ready for some surprises if you decide to dive into the whole Burning Man phenomenon, and be pre-warned if you have delicate sensibilities: this group of creative people tend to gravitate towards “wardrobe” malfunctions, so you will see the human body in all its artistic glory.

Still, EWC loves these people who push at the edges of what’s probable, and Burning Man certainly qualifies in that category. We’ll have to accept the wonders and the instances they push past our comfort zones!

If you know of creators who have made interesting combinations, send us a link! Just today we had someone connect us about a fellow who is teaching chess to inner city kids to inspire them to think more strategically, and it’s working!
