Some landscapes are so beautiful, they seem almost untouchable.

Across China, beautiful rock formations dot the landscape, inspiring awe in visitors across the world…

Imagine being the first person to climb some of these iconic landscapes!

Today on Saturdays Around the World, we head out with a team of National Geographic Climbers who took on some of the most beautiful rock formations in China.

This incredible journey was documented by some of the best photographers and videographers in the world, partnered with the amazing National Geographic. The result is simply breathtaking…

Our insatiable appetite to explore places nobody has ever explored before is a truly beautiful part of our humanity. We are so fortunate to be in a time now where we can document these moments of adventure and discovery.

On expedition with National Geographic…

To capture those three and a half minutes of adventure took a month in China and a remarkable amount of time, energy, and sweat. It’s hard to truly appreciate the scale of what these climbers accomplished without hearing the stories of this adventure from their own mouths.

Here is a wonderful piece from National Geographic Live that sits down with the photographer and two climbers from the expedition to hear about what really goes into a National Geographic expedition…

There are remarkable places across the planet ready to be explored. Many of us will never go on an expedition with National Geographic, but we are all certainly capable of creating our own adventures in our pocket of the planet.

Our desire to explore is something we should embrace and encourage in young people. The more we take time to appreciate our planet for the remarkable place it is, the more energy we will put into preserving it for future generations

Stay beautiful & keep laughing!
