What happens when you combine snowy mountain slopes, dramatic lighting, and some of the world’s greatest skiers?
A jaw-dropping performance that will leave you in awe of human creativity and audacity.
In their own words…
From the depth of the creative visuals to the groundbreaking, never-been-done-before scale of the shoot, Afterglow is being hailed as one of the most cinematically profound ski movies ever made. Deep pillows and Alaskan spines, all filmed at night, with massive lights, custom made LED suits, and a national governments worth of logistics, planning, and civil engineering. 1
Afterglow recently won “Best in Show and “Best Extreme Sports” at the New Your City Drone Film Festival, and it’s not hard to see why.
Buckle up, set the video on full screen, and enjoy, because the next ten minutes is one of the most visually stunning videos we have ever found…
Making the Magic…
I’ll let you take a moment to breathe…
So, how do you pull off something like this? Well, hauling massive lights up steep slopes in freezing temperatures is just one of the many labors of love that went into creating this beautiful piece of cinematography.
