Every four years, something strange happens in February…
We get an extra day!

But why do we add a day every four years, and is it all that simple?

For the answer, we to turn to famous astrophysicist Neil Degrasse Tyson for the interesting explanation, as produced by the incredible organization, National Geographic.

So, I guess, there you have it!

Now you can be the smartest one at the Leap Day party and regale your friends with more Leap Year knowledge than you ever thought possible!

We like to think of EWC as a place that leaves you every day feeling a little bit smarter and more knowledgeable about the world! So, if you haven’t yet, make sure you have subscribed to get the latest from EWC!
